For $15 my wife and I each had a meal and there is still enough chicken left-over for each to have left-overs. “ This chicken is just the best in Kc. There is two really great joints in Kc for grilled chicked but In my opinion this takes #1 for best Smoked chicken. Their chicken is super marinated and a lot more juicier than other places. Every order comes with Rice, beans, tortillas, spicy sauce and a grilled jalapeno. You can order half or a whole chicken. Only Cons here is not too many parking spots and chicken here is only for takeout. ”

“ After stopping by El Pollo Rey on Sunday at 6 pm and receiving the devastating news that they had just sold out of chicken... 2 hours before they closed... I decided to give this joint a try. Really juicy chicken, nicely flavored. Decent flavors in their salsa, and love that they give you grilled jalapeños, but I have to say I'm not a fan of their rice, my son said it reminded him of Chinese rice. Next time El Pollo Rey sells out, I will be back for this chicken, and I'll make sure to pick up the rice their first! ”

“ This and El Pollo Rey are the two places to get Mexican chicken in the 'dotte. El Pollo Rey has the great pickled onions, but El Pollo Guasave's chicken is juicier and and marinade is tastier. They also give you a grilled hot pepper, which is a good addition. I go to both regularly, it depends on what I'm in the mood for. But if it's just the best chicken I can get my hands on that I'm after, time to go to Guasave. It should be noted that El Pollo Guasave is open for lunch and dinner Thursday through Sunday. ”
